Initial program level is determined by a level placement test on the first day of your program.

Some courses in GLLC’s Global English and Academic Skills are shared with other Global English programs and English for Academic Purposes, with the aim of bringing a more diverse range of perspectives into the classroom.

*Royal Roads University student fees apply to students in most GLLC programs. These fees, which help fund a range of services that support student learning and the student experience, are included in the program tuition stated above.
Certificate in English Proficiency
Students who achieve 70% or higher in all 3 courses in Level-3 of Global English and Academic Skills will receive a Certificate in English Proficiency. This certificate can be used as proof of meeting the minimum English language requirement when applying for one of RRU’s undergraduate Year 1 programs with academic and language support.
