Government priority programming supports training in high-demand sectors that are central to B.C.’s economic future, including: Care Economy, Clean Economy, Construction, Mining, Marine Transportation, and the Inclusive Economy. Our eligible micro-credentials are designed to meet labour market needs and prepare learners for resilient, future-focused careers.

Transferable Skills Programs

Note: Funded seats in the Royal Roads University’s transferrable skills programs are now at capacity. We are waitlisting applicants should additional funding become available. Learners wishing to enrol on a self-funded basis may register in either a full program or course by course. Applicants wishing to access StrongerBC funding are encouraged to explore our priority programs above as there are still seats available. These programs are specifically designed to meet current labour market needs and government priorities, offering valuable options for skill development and career advancement in high-demand sectors.

Transferable skills programs build broad, cross-sector skills such as business, communication, and digital literacy that support career mobility across industries. These programs remain popular with learners and are essential for adapting to a rapidly evolving job market.
