This intensive 20 hour/week program will not only refine your English language skills but also deepen your academic communication, interpersonal, teamwork, problem-solving and research skills.

Certificate in Advanced English Proficiency
Students who achieve 73% or higher in both courses in Advanced Academic Preparation will receive a Certificate in Advanced English Proficiency. This certificate can be used as proof of meeting the minimum English language requirement when applying for one of RRU’s undergraduate degree completion programs or most RRU graduate programs.

This program is shared with students in University Academic Preparation, which prepares students for Year 3 of RRU undergraduate degree completion programs and most RRU graduate programs. Only students who are assessed at an advanced level of English in all skill areas and who are prepared to commit 10-15 hours per week outside of class to assignments should select this program
