Course Description

Moodle: Editing & Enhancing Online (MEEO) is the online version of Moodle: Editing & Enhancing. This online courses focuses on developing the skills to build and edit a Moodle course. You will learn about common activities and resources in Moodle and get hands-on practice adding to and editing a Moodle course in your own "sandbox" site. This workshop is designed for staff and faculty who already have basic Moodle navigation skills.

 

 

 

Learner Outcomes

  • Identify Moodle resources and activities and their applications
  • Use various Moodle resources (e.g. books, pages, URLs, etc.) to add content to a Moodle course
  • User various Moodle activities to create engaging activities for students
  • Edit existing resources and activities in a Moodle course
  • Add media, such as images and videos, to a Moodle course
  • Identify ways of getting additional Moodle support

Notes

Time Requirement: Participants should expect to spend 1 - 2 hours per week for course activities during each of the three weeks. Continuous active participation is necessary to make this course successful for everyone. There may be occasional synchronous sessions during this course. These sessions are recorded and attendance is not required.
