Course Description

This four week online course on Coaching for Performance – Creating Inspired Workplaces is designed for managers who want to fully embrace the role of “coach-manager” with the intention of supporting and inspiring their team to access their potential. The course is designed and facilitated with adult learning principles in mind, and an expectation that participants will come to the program engaged and open to contribute to their learning and the experience of others. Key values that inform this experience include curiosity, commitment and co-creation.  What values will inform your learning experience?

Course Outline

Modules:

  • The neuroscience of coaching - building connection and trust

  • Foundations of a coaching mindset

  • Fundamental skills for coaching leaders

  • The coaching conversation framework

 

Learner Outcomes

  • Understand the basic neuroscience for changing behaviour

  • Develop personal awareness of your mindset and beliefs that inform how you coach

  • Acquire foundational skills for coaching conversations

  • Utilize a coaching conversation framework that can be applied immediately in the workplace and in life
