In this course, participants will build their critical capacity to influence others which positions them to get noticed as exemplary leaders and contributors in their workplace, to excel in their careers and effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders. The course begins with an exploration of influencing behaviours, and concludes with an opportunity for participants to practice their influencing skills and receive feedback from others. Participants will discuss their own challenges in influencing others effectively and set personal goals for enhancing their skills in this domain. Activities will comprise a combination of discussions, self-reflection and team-based activities. Participants will leave the course with a set of tools and techniques that they can apply immediately to the workplace.
