This course is designed for those responsible for planning and leading projects who seek a deeper understanding of Lean Kanban methodologies. You will cover an overview of Lean concepts and flow-based methods, from visualizing work to continuous improvement.

Learn how to manage work in progress, identify and expose bottlenecks, and leverage cumulative flow diagrams to improve throughput.

Course Outline

In this course, you will:

  • Learn the core principles of Lean
  • Understand value streams and their importance
  • Gain an introduction to Kanban (Kanban 101)
  • Bring it all together with Lean Kanban, covering three principles and five core practices
  • Create and manage Work in Progress (WIP) limits
  • Monitor progress using cumulative flow diagrams
