Course Description

In this course, you'll develop your strengths and competencies in performing high-level assessments of the impact of strategy and change on an organization and its employees. You'll learn to forecast the likelihood of successfully implementing wide-scale change.

Throughout the course, you'll work in teams to learn an innovative approach to assessing the probability of implementing organizational change effectively.

Course Outline

In this course, you will:

  • Understand the drivers of transformational change by exploring seven accelerating technologies that will change our world
  • Explore the impact of accelerating technologies on various industries
  • Engage in team discussions and presentations on the potential impact on your client base
  • Analyze organizational transformation and the effects of system blindness on executive thinking through team assignments and case studies using the four-grid model
  • Explore the link between organizational change and personal change, and understand four reasons for resistance
  • Create an action plan for behavioral change to move yourself and others past barriers to change
  • Learn a structured approach to leading transformation by applying change management best practices, from stakeholder engagement and communication to conducting impact analysis and business readiness assessments using the ACMP model and three tools
  • Complete team assignments and case studies
  • Participate in class reviews and present case solutions
