Course Description
Moodle: Getting Around focuses on learning the basics of navigating around a Moodle course. This course will introduce you to everything you need to know to get started using Moodle, from logging in to finding and using different activities and resources in Moodle.
This course is designed for staff or faculty who are new to Moodle or looking for a refresher of Moodle fundamentals.
Course Outline
In this course, you will:
- Explain what a learning management system is
- Describe the different Moodle sites at RRU and their purposes
- Navigate effectively around Moodle
- Complete your Moodle profile
- Participate in a Moodle forum, including creating links and attaching files
- Subscribe and unsubscribe to forums
- Describe how RRU's Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies (CTET) staff support faculty in course development and teaching
Learner Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
