Course Description

Do you need a web presence for your teaching at RRU? Whether it's to showcase a research project or share insights about your academic journey, a WordPress site at RRU is the perfect solution. This course is your gateway to developing your site, offering hands-on practice in content editing and media management. No prior experience required.

Course Outline

In this course, you will:

• Navigate the WordPress dashboard
• Add and edit content (create pages, posts, links)
• Embed pictures and videos in pages and posts
• Use the WordPress Customizer to complete basic style customizations to a theme
• Work with menus and change widgets
• Restrict access to your WordPress site
• Identify ways of getting additional WordPress support

Learner Outcomes

By the end of this course, you'll be able to:
