LEAD091 Mastering Design Thinking for Organizations

Course Description

The invincible company. Does it exist? Can it exist? Leading organizations are rapidly recognizing the need to not only stay competitive, but to lead innovation. Innovation is the key to invincibility. Design-thinking is both a pathway and a journey to innovation. In this course, you will master a robust and human-centered approach to the design and implementation of products, services, experiences or processes of any size or scope.

Design Thinking provides a solution-based approach to solving problems, is a transformative way of thinking, and revolves around a deep interest in developing an understanding of the people for whom we’re designing solutions. Informed by testing and analysis, and involving customer feedback, you’ll learn to iterate on and refine your solutions using design thinking methodology – an iterative process which revolves around a deep interest in developing an understanding of the people for whom you’re designing solutions, challenges assumptions and biases, and redefines problems in an attempt to identify alternative strategies and solutions that might not be instantly apparent with initial understanding.
