Course Description

In this advanced beekeeping course, you'll master techniques for the successful management of bee colonies. You'll learn about stock assessment and nutritional supplements, advanced colony manipulation, and swarm management. Explore queen production methods and breeding considerations, selecting for hygienic behavior and mite resistance, and handling external environmental stresses.

You'll understand the management of pests and pathogens, honey and pollination production, and marketing. Discover strategies for moving away from chemical dependency and consider the future of bees.

Course Outline

In this course, you will:

  • Conduct stock assessment and use nutritional supplements
  • Practice advanced colony manipulation and swarm management
  • Explore queen production methods and breeding considerations
  • Select for hygienic behavior and mite resistance
