Course Description

We don’t have control over most change, but we do have control over how we respond to it. The key to this response is resilience – and the good news is that it can be developed. In this interactive and experiential course, you will learn practical techniques for strengthening resilience, including the use of mindfulness practices which has been proven to be one of the most effective techniques. You will receive your personal resilience profile which will provide valuable insight into how you emotionally “show up” during times of turbulence and more importantly, where to focus to achieve your optimum level of resilience.

Course Outline

Neuroscience:

  • The neuroscience of change
  • Why our brains are not wired for change
  • Our emotional reaction to change

Resilience:

  • The Seven Characteristics of Resilient People
  • Identify personal strengths and gaps

Mindfulness:

  • What is Mindfulness
  • How it works
  • Mindfulness practices to strengthen resilience

  • Explain the root cause of our emotional response to change
  • Describe the characteristics of highly resilient people
  • Identify personal strengths and areas of opportunity for optimizing resilience
  • Gain the confidence and agility to manage through change & disruption better
  • Increase your self awareness to consciously choose winning behaviours and mindsets for greater performance and productivity
  • Strengthen your emotional well being and stamina to bounce back quicker and absorb higher levels of disruption
  • Adopt the mindset that allows you to not only survive through change and disruption, but thrive through it
