Course Description

As the pace of change and demands increase in our work lives, your ability to handle your emotional states becomes more important. Emotional intelligence (EI) has been linked to leadership and managerial success in the workplace.

This introductory course gives you a sense of how well you are currently functioning and how you can harness EI skills to attain your professional goals. A complete personal EI profile (the BarOn EQ-i 2.0) is included.

Course Outline

In this course, you will:

  • Learn how your brain contributes to emotional intelligence
  • Understand what emotional intelligence is and why it is important for workplace success
  • Evaluate your own emotional intelligence with the BarOn EQ-i
  • Develop emotional self-awareness and self-management skills
