Course Description

This course is structured to prepare participants for graduate work in accounting. The course explains accounting concepts and conventions without the use of debits and credits while emphasizing the importance of financial statements and managerial decision-making. The course demonstrates the methods of recording, summarizing, and analyzing an economic entity's financial transactions and explores the different ways of effectively communicating financial information to both internal users, such as management and external users, such as investors and creditors of financial information.
