LEAD088 - Integrated Learning Assessment: Real Estate and Development
Course Description
This integrated assessment offers an in-depth understanding of the perspectives, responsibilities, and role of a development manager through a comprehensive project presentation. Students will select one of three development sites provided and outline the full management process for a proposed project. The project includes detailing essential steps, addressing significant issues, conducting professional studies, engaging with stakeholders, navigating political and approval landscapes, and preparing for construction, marketing, and sales.
Guided by the foundational knowledge acquired in the Real Estate Development Management Program (RaD) program, students are encouraged to enhance their presentations with additional research and insights. Presentations will be evaluated on their depth, clarity, and demonstration of a strong grasp of a development manager's role. A discussion period will follow, allowing for further exploration of key topics.
