The Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of British Columbia’s Arbitrator Training Course - ONLINE

The Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of British Columbia’s (ADRBC) Interactive online Arbitrator Training Course provides both lawyers and non-lawyers with the basic skills necessary to become an effective Arbitrator. The course provides an introduction to the basic principles of law governing contract law, an intensive review of the conduct of arbitration proceedings, the BC Arbitration Act, and the commonly used rules of procedure. Additionally, students will learn how to conduct a hearing and how to write a reasoned award.

Mineral Exploration, Geoscience and Environmental Field Assistant: Micro-Credential Program - ONLINE

Mineral exploration, mining and environmental services are some of the most important sectors of the BC economy. The need for mineral products is increasing as we transition to a low-carbon economy and the sound environmental management of mining and other development activities such as roads, forestry and right of ways is critical to the sustainable development of BC’s economy. This program will prepare graduates for field assistant positions in mineral exploration, mining and environmental services and provide a step toward a career in natural resources and environmental management.
