The Business Administration Essentials program delivers training that directly connects to labour market needs, enabling participants to be successful in obtaining entry or re-entry into administrative and service-oriented positions for sustainable employment. This program enables participants to make the transition from training to employment supporting their ability to compete in the job market with newly acquired skills, increased confidence, and relevant and applicable transferable skills for the workplace.
The Supervisory Skills program delivers training that directly connects to labour market needs, enabling participants to be successful in obtaining entry or re-entry into mid-level supervisory, administrative, and service-oriented positions for sustainable employment. This program enables participants to make the transition from training to employment supporting their ability to compete in the job market with newly acquired skills, increased confidence, and relevant and applicable transferable skills for the workplace.
The Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of British Columbia’s (ADRBC) Interactive online Arbitrator Training Course provides both lawyers and non-lawyers with the basic skills necessary to become an effective Arbitrator. The course provides an introduction to the basic principles of law governing contract law, an intensive review of the conduct of arbitration proceedings, the BC Arbitration Act, and the commonly used rules of procedure. Additionally, students will learn how to conduct a hearing and how to write a reasoned award.
