ACCT085 - Managerial Accounting Fundamentals
Course Description
In this course, you will be introduced to the fundamental principles of managerial accounting. By the end of the course, you will understand the basic principles of managerial accounting, identify relevant costs and their use in decision-making, and apply cost allocations, budgets, and benchmark plans.
Managerial Accounting Fundamentals also serves as preparation for applicants of RRU's Graduate and Undergraduate programs.
Course Outline
In this course, you will:
- Understand the structure and format of financial statements
- Explore the meaning and implications of financial statements
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of users of financial statements
- Learn the debits and credits system
- Manage liabilities and payables transactions
Throughout the course, you will engage in practical exercises and case studies to reinforce your learning and prepare you for more advanced studies in managerial accounting.
