Influencing and Negotiating with Impact - ONLINE

In this four-week online course, participants will build their critical capacity to influence others which positions them to get noticed as exemplary leaders and contributors in their workplace, to excel in their careers and effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders. The course begins with an exploration of influencing behaviours, and concludes with an opportunity for participants to practice their influencing skills and receive feedback from others. Participants will discuss their own challenges in influencing others effectively and set personal goals for enhancing their skills in this domain.

Activities in this workshop will comprise a combination of discussions, self-reflection and team-based activities. Participants will leave the session with a set of tools and techniques that they can apply immediately to the workplace.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify the core competencies associated with influencing effectively
  • Build their critical skills capacity to set the right climate for engagement and influencing others
  • Exercise diplomacy and interpersonal savvy to develop and hone workplace relationships with others
  • Pinpoint their strengths and developmental opportunities as workplace influencers
