Course Description

Developing Leadership Impact is an intensive program that identifies and develops key leadership skills and explores organizational change leadership. At the core of contemporary leadership is developing self and others to be more aware, collaborative, innovative and resilient. It’s essential that leaders, both in established and emergent positions, maximize the impact of their leadership to better serve their organizations and to leave a powerful legacy. This program provides tools, techniques and approaches to help you to build on your strengths, articulate your personal leadership vision and enhance your capacity to lead others.


Course Outline

Re-engage your leadership practice. A few of the topics we will explore include Personal Leadership Influence and Effectiveness, Appreciative Inquiry, Strengths Based Leadership, Values and Visioning, Dynamic Teams, Peer Coaching, and Leadership Action Planning.


Learner Outcomes

  • Understand theories and models of leadership and their relation to practice

  • Identify and evaluate your own strengths and capacity to lead

  • Challenge existing patterns of behaviour to enhance personal leadership effectiveness

  • Honour diverse communication styles and foster collaboration and openness within a community of peers

  • Engage in critical reflexive practice to deepen your leadership potential

  • Refine a personal values-based leadership vision

  • Explore a unique approach to dynamic peer coaching feedback loops
