StrongerBC future skills: How to enroll

 

 

General

  1. I received my StrongerBC future skills grant discount code, how do I enroll?
  2. How do I track the progress of my certificate or micro-credential?
  3. How do I select my courses?

 

Answers

 

Once your application has been approved, you will receive a discount code.
The discount code is applied during checkout. Have your discount code handy when you are ready to enroll.



 
  1. Login to your student account through the PCS Student Portal

  2. Click on My Profile to update your Gender and enter your Social Insurance Number into the respective fields under the Personal Information tab. Note that Gender and Social Insurance Number are reporting requirements from the Ministry as a condition of funding and must be entered to proceed with registration.  Click Save when finished to update your profile. 

  3. Select your program from the program page.
     
  4. Click the StrongerBC Bundle 'Add to Cart' button to add the program to your shopping cart.

  5. You will be prompted to make course selections based on the next available section offerings. Select the 'I do not wish to make any selections from this group' option if you wish to register for the course at a later time. Note that you must start a minimum of one course between September 1 and December 31, 2023 in order to remain eligible for Strongerbc future skills grant funding.

  6. Click Continue once you have finished making your course selections.

  7. Click the 'Apply a Discount' checkbox to open up the discount code box. Enter your discount code in the field.

  8. Once the discount code has been applied. Click Checkout.  The price of the courses will update to $0.00

  9. You may be required to provide your login credentials again to continue. Once you complete the checkout process you will receive an enrollment confirmation by email.

You can view your course selections and the progress of your certificate or micro-credential at any time through your PCS Student Portal.




 
  1. Login to your student account through the PCS Student Portal

  2. Select My Certificates from the left navigation menu

  3. Click on your certificate

  4. You can view the progress of your certificate by tracking course completion of core and applicable electives

Changes to course selections are subject to the refund policy and registration deadlines. If you did not select any courses during checkout you can register through your PCS Student Profile by following the instructions below.



 
  1. Login to your student account through the PCS Student Portal
     
  2. Select My Certificates from the left navigation menu

  3. Click on your certificate
     
  4. Click the Show next available course sections button. Note you will only be able to make course selections if you have not enrolled in your certificate or micro-credential. If you wish to make changes to courses you have enrolled in, please Contact us

  5. Select your courses from the available options and click Continue

  6. Proceed through the Checkout to complete the transaction and save your course selection
