Program Overview:

The Managing Organizational Cybersecurity and Compliance Micro-credential is a strategically designed, intensive professional development program tailored for individuals responsible for, or aspiring to influence, cybersecurity and compliance strategy within organizations. This program equips learners with practical tools, current frameworks, and applied knowledge to manage cybersecurity risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster organizational resilience in the face of evolving cyber threats and technological disruption. Students will complete four (4) courses to earn the full micro-credential.

1. Creating an Organizational Framework for Cybersecurity: Governance, Risk, and Compliance

2. Driving Organizational Cybersecurity Outcomes: Program Development and Measurement

  • Measuring program effectiveness and efficiency

3. Preparing for the Worst: Incident Response and Organizational Resilience

  • Identifying and addressing capability gaps
  • Designing incident response teams and development plans

Micro-credential Outcomes:

Upon completion of this micro-credential students will be able to:

  • Design and implement cybersecurity governance structures that align with organizational goals, regulatory obligations, and enterprise risk management strategies
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional cybersecurity initiatives, develop business-aligned programs, and advocate for organizational investment through data-driven business cases

Delivery Format:

You will engage in blended online learning, combining synchronous and asynchronous delivery methods. This approach ensures a dynamic learning environment where you can participate in real-time virtual interactions while also having the flexibility to access materials and activities at your own pace.

Anticipated time investment is 4-6 hours per week, per course.
