Course Description
Course B (Community Impact): In this fun and inspiring course, students will learn how to make a difference in their communities and the world! They’ll explore how leaders from around the world create positive change and discover skills to lead their own projects. Whether focusing on helping people, solving problems, or protecting the environment, students will gain new ideas and build confidence to take action in ways that matter to them. This module shows that anyone can be a leader and make the world a better place!
Course Outline
This 2-week Leadership Academy course consists of two units. Each unit is one week long.
Unit 1: Community Leadership
In this unit, students will explore community leadership, examining the essential skills, opportunities for community impact, strategies for leading change, and the steps involved in starting a community project. Students will integrate this knowledge to create and present their own Community Project.
Unit 2: Environmental Leadership
In this unit, students will learn about environmental leadership and the challenges facing our planet. They’ll study the actions of inspiring leaders and develop a Call to Action presentation on an environmental issue they care about.

Prerequisites
