Course Description
Teaching with Zoom is a two-session online workshop tailored to enhance your skills in interactive online teaching using Zoom, a synchronous web-conferencing platform.
During the initial session, you'll delve into design and teaching strategies for fostering active learning environments in online synchronous settings. Discover techniques for facilitating effectively and assisting students with minor technical issues. Get hands-on experience with Zoom tools (utilized in the first session) to prepare for facilitating a mini-lesson in the subsequent session..
In the following session (scheduled a week later), you'll lead a ten-minute mini lesson using Zoom. Receive constructive feedback from peers and glean insights from their demonstrations. Full attendance in both sessions is expected.
Course Outline
In this course, you will:
- Delve into design and teaching strategies for fostering active learning environments in online synchronous settings
