Course Description

Examines strategies for managing change in organizational and personal contexts, focusing on the emotional and situational aspects of transition. Explores techniques to navigate responses to change, stabilize processes, and maximize benefits in evolving workplace environments. Addresses the growing need for resilience and adaptability in the face of rapid technological and organizational shifts.

 

Course Outline

In this course, you will:

  • Understand why organizations and individuals choose to make major changes and how various drivers of change influence decisions and reactions.
  • Explore the planning processes that are essential for implementing change, ensuring smooth transitions, and managing potential challenges, risks, and resources required for change initiatives.
  • Identify different types of change and assess their scope and scale, helping you better anticipate the responses needed from individuals and organizations.
  • Develop team presentation skills, allowing you to effectively communicate change initiatives to various stakeholders.
  • Learn about the normalization process for both individual and organizational changes, addressing emotional and rational responses, and ensuring that changes are embedded into daily practices.
  • Apply emotional intelligence to manage stress during change, both for yourself and for others, creating a sense of security and readiness for change in any environment.
  • Explore how change impacts learning and how to design learning activities that align with people's readiness to absorb new information.
  • Enhance communication strategies to support change initiatives, ensuring messages are heard and understood at the right time.
