Advancing Health Leadership is a five-day, intensive program that uses new concepts and creative tools for the advanced leader in the Canadian health system. Aligned with the LEADS in a Caring Environment capability framework, the integrated and interactive course components focus on how to navigate and reinterpret the increasing complexity of the health sector, and how to find innovative and transformative solutions to healthcare’s wicked problems. Burn out, disengagement, distrust, lack of joy in work, and the absence of relationship-centred care are all systemic issues that remain largely unaddressed, and contribute to undermining the sustainability of the Canadian healthcare system. Participants will explore elements of personal, organizational, and systemic leadership, their role as agile leader-agents within such a system, and the dynamics and skills of shifting organizational culture. This advanced health leadership program will give you a new perspective - to see what else is possible - and the tools to take action accordingly.
Tuition: $4,500.00 +applicable taxes. Included: Meals during scheduled programming (morning refreshments, lunches, required receptions), program materials, certificate of completion.
