Valeria Cortes

Valeria Cortes, MA, is a leadership educator and practitioner, passionate about leadership for social change in multicultural contexts. She has extensive experience facilitating change within the non-profit sector and the community level and has worked with undergraduate and graduate students in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Her research and practice include the use of arts-based methods, particularly transformational theatre, as a tool for developing systems thinking. Cortes is the founder of Tlatoa Consulting where she offers leadership and intercultural education as well as training and program/curriculum development for various sectors.

This MicroCourse will introduce you to the basics of Liberating Structures and will give you an opportunity to dip into the FLO experience and leave with something practical that can be applied wherever you facilitate: classrooms, meetings, planning sessions, team days, workshops, and presentations.
