September 30, 2020 Session: Flexible & Supportive Teaching
The fifth values-based micro-session will be focused on the Care and Community-Based arc of the LTRM. The theme for the session is “Flexible & Supportive Teaching”. In the session, Dr. Sophia Palahicky, associate faculty in the School of Education & Technology (SET), will share her reflections on ways she has lived the values of care and community in her teaching through a supportive and flexible approach. In particular, Sophia will use a Photovoice activity to allow participants to reflect on how they can apply flexible and supportive approaches in their teaching practice. A discussion and Q&A session will follow the formal presentation.
