Leanne Allen is a Producer, Writer, Host, and Actor. Currently producing Culture Vulture TV, a talk show featuring the best in arts and entertainment in BC, airing on Shaw TV every day in every city on Vancouver Island and the Okanagan, as well as her own award-winning network, CultureVultureTV.com. She is also the Producer/Writer at LAmediaINC.ca and Director of Production at ExMachinaMedia.ca. Leanne is an expert in multi-platform content creation from print, radio, television to online and social media.
Meet the Media: Training in Interview and Communications Skills
Knowing what to say and how to say it is key to making the best impression with the media. This interactive workshop covers what you need to know to confidently manage media interviews, get media attention and cope with crisis communications. We cover media literacy; discuss what journalists need; and prepare you to speak in emergencies, proactive and reactive situations, and for expert interviews. On-camera practice and critiques help hone your interview presence and presence of mind, even in stressful situations.
