Regardless of your academic background or your professional goals, these programs offer practical skills and transformational learning. Business Essentials for Emerging Global Leaders

Designed for aspiring leaders seeking an immersive international education experience, this one semester program blends professional and personal leadership, career coaching, team-based projects and field trips, and exposure to RRU’s award-winning Learning, Teaching and Research Model alongside business and workplace English.

English for Academic Purposes

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programs are designed for students looking to develop their English language skills to help meet their personal, professional or academic goals.

Summer Leadership Academy

Summer Leadership Academy students will gain leadership skills while heightening English and intercultural competencies. Blending experiential and challenge-based learning, this program actively engages students to apply their learning to actionable projects in teams with the objective of making positive change in the world, both locally and globally. Designed for students 19+ years of age with moderate English language ability.

Online English for Academic Purpose

The 11-week online English for Academic Purposes Program develops students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and grammar skills through a combination of live sessions and guided online activities and assignments. Students complete approximately 9 hours per week of independent study using an online integrated skills curriculum, which covers a series of thematic units. Additional materials and resources, such as recorded lectures and PowerPoint presentations, are provided to enhance the learners’ understanding of the material. The online learning platform, Moodle, promotes student participation through the use of discussion forums and other interactive tools. Students build their intercultural understanding, global competence, and critical thinking skills through the completion of a range of individual and collaborative assignments with guidance from the instructor
