Carolin Rekar Munro

Carolin Rekar Munro, PhD, is the intellectual lead for leadership and human resources for the Faculty of Management at Royal Roads University. She has collaborated in the public and private sectors on change management, organizational renewal, strategic planning, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and team building. Her published work includes bridging multi-generational differences; developing and sustaining high performing teams; ROI from training initiatives; leadership models for transitioning teams to interdependence; wellness management of HR practitioners; and mentoring Generation Y.

Influencing and Negotiating with Impact - ONLINE

In this four-week online course, participants will build their critical capacity to influence others which positions them to get noticed as exemplary leaders and contributors in their workplace, to excel in their careers and effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders. The course begins with an exploration of influencing behaviours, and concludes with an opportunity for participants to practice their influencing skills and receive feedback from others. Participants will discuss their own challenges in influencing others effectively and set personal goals for enhancing their skills in this domain.
